About Us

Our Philosophy

India is going through a generational change. New technologies and fast economic shifts are transforming the country, but they are also creating new challenges (or worsening existing ones). As a result, many communities are being left behind, especially those already facing inequalities. Unfortunately, climate change is making all of this worse.

Even though the climate crisis affects everyone, not everyone gets a chance to act. Young people and marginalized communities, in particular, often have little say in solving the problems they live with.

The Climate Dream Prize wants to change that.

It has a simple belief: if we give young people the opportunity and support to take the lead, they can build real solutions. The Prize gives students the space to think big, connect with their local realities, and take the first steps toward solving climate problems around them.

By doing this, we hope to build a future where climate resilience is real, inclusive, and rooted in the everyday lives of people across India.

Hi! I’m Arjun, and I’m passionate about climate policy and education.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work across different parts of India’s public policy space, from managing the Director’s Office at a leading think tank, to helping implement India’s largest citizenship education program for schoolchildren. I have taught in underserved schools in Punjab, contributed to national education policies, and even helped design a university curriculum on non-profit management.

My research has been presented at leading academic global conferences and I have published commentaries in major national media, including The Indian Express and The Times of India. Further, organizations such as The Dexterity Global Group, The World Bank Group, the Mercatus Center, and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung have selected me for world-class capacity-building opportunities. Notably, among my achievements is a fully funded invitation to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris to present a solution on building climate resilience in India.

I hope to use my education to address environmental inequalities in India.
